I came across an interesting article today on GoogleBlogoScoped about how hotlinking images had helped Michel Telendro achieve a top ranking on Googles image search for a brand new website in less than 3 weeks.
He said, “I do one of this hotlinking with one flickr image in a new domain (3 weeks, no backlinks) and in one week I was ranking #3 for that keyword in [Google Images].”
