To follow on from Michele’s blog post earlier about Irish companies who have been spamming him all day, I just got one that annoyed me too.
I just got a spam mail from a Cian Powell, from Advance Financial Planning. You know I wouldn’t minded receiving this email if it was actually directed at me and not just a blanket bomb to god knows how many people. I’m not against businesses emailing me with information on a product or service that they think might benefit me in some way, but it must be directed to me only AND actually be something I might be interested in.
For example, if a design agency wants to partner with us to provide web design and online marketing services for their clients, in return for us doing something for them. Or if someone can offer me a service that they know is much better than anything I could have ever got before…. well then yeah fire away, tell me about it, but just make it to me and not the world!!
