Hi everyone.This is a continuation of my comment(November 6th 2009).
I’ll take it short…
Got a bunch of mean calls and letters from eflow’s soliciting company(bunch of f****rs),told them that I have not done any criminal and I do not see what for I should pay,I’m paying all taxes so the roads ment to be free + not able to pay so much for nothing. The anwer was court on the way and my credit history will be damaged.Told them, that I don’t have any credit history so f***k you and your eflow. Not a sound since.
So I believe it’s just a fool’s trap.Very sound like mafia. They keep mean attitude and if you are weak person you fall for that and pay,but if you lovely stubborn fella they leave you alone.
Innocent people of Ireland, that is a daylight robbery, don’t fall for that…
If you haven’t done anything don’t be affraid of court…
Be strong,fight for your right…

Hi everyone. All comments are grate, but the sums are low.Ha-ha... I mean,Ye all were lucky enough to pay all charges sooner or later. I am going through that bloody M50 just about few times a year and never knew about e-flow,until I got the letter from them ,with the charge of 6 euro.Paid that same day.In fact after I gave them a call I've descovered there are about 5 more charges of 45 Euros each for not paing in time.I've explained to the lad there that I never heard about it,he said not to worry, and just pay the last one and we are cool.
Now its getting to crazzy... A month later I got the letter from their soliciting company with the charge of 152 Euro.Gave them a call-Eflow said the case forvarded to solicitors, solicitors said that they have 7 charges 152 Euro each for me,which comes to about 750+Euro... And if I wount pay it all in 7 days(which I wount) they forvard it to court...
Waiting oral deal now...
Nearly crying now. This is wors then electric shock. Would any one give me any advice how to act now? Should I hire my own solicitor or should we all group together and protest against this rip off...? Den.Cork.

I passed over the toll bridge and when I got back from holidays - They were looking for 46.50 each way. I was still able to pay the 12 euros that was 2 days overdue. I sent them an email telling them I had paid.

I have read the bye-law on http://www.nra.ie/PublicPrivatePartnership/TollingDocumentation/file,15356,en.pdf but am going to refuse to pay any more. It is extortion.

A few days ago I drove to Dublin Airport for a short vacation. Then I did not know how the eflow system works. I assumed that the M50 north toll bridge was temp. out of service. At home I got the letters stating that I have to pay the 2 times 3 Euro charge plus an additional 6 Euro fine. I am just wondering if I am really the last person living in Ireland who did not know of this system (You have to pay within 24 hours otherwise you get fined!!). I can’t understand why the Irish people don't rebel against this rip off nonsense... I am sure that this awkward system could never be installed in any other EU country – The people protest against it!

Great points all of you! I live in Wicklow and have been royally scewed by eflow. We went twice (and back) to the airport last october and paid €12 (have bank statements to prove it) and then were charged 4 lots of fines (44 each in total, I think) While that was "in dispute" we got further "fines" of €100 on top of each one...total of €576!!!! We have threathened solicitors etc and finally got it reduced to THREE journeys (we obviously didnt come home, according to them). We tried to pay the €9 but they would only accecpt €3...that was last month..now this morning have received fines for the remaining two ..was just on to little smarmy boy on other end...theyre obviously trained to be calm and smarmey...I told him Im going to see my solicitor. This harassment can not be right.

@Peter - I don't get your point at all. We're narrow minded because we didn't check out all the options?

Eh, well I certainly did and none of them made sense. The fact that we should have to "look into" the different options shows how narrow minded eFlow are.

If you were any sort of decent company you would have taken the time to make things clear instead of peddling rubbish in your advertising campaigns.

Look at your website for example.... It is probably the worst site for explaining any of the options available. People have had to resort to coming to blogs like this to get information and it's clear that it's not always the right information!

Hi
I went trhough the toll twice in the last month and hardly ever use it so wont be getting any tags. I paid immediatly online both times and still recieved a demand for payment after. The letters I got incidently were four A4 pages heavy duty paper. They must have a huge carbon footprint and and even bigger wallett to be sending that stuff out to every tagless car that goes through the toll. Its typical anyway ,In Ireland we should expect to be treated this way it comes from the top down and of course people just moan and then pay. Its the Celtic cute whore syndrome.
