Google chrome is not that good. Sure it’s got some neat features, but the fact that Google owns it, it will *never* have the ability to block ads.
But as far as speed is concern, chrome is far more away then the other browsers.

any new stats on chrome / market share , i know they took down 1 % market share on first day.

Google Chrome is extremely useful when it comes to productivity. I really like chrome so far, it looks fantastic with the new tab location and im finding it a lot faster than IE!

Ya true Tom, FF the range of plugins for seo, developers etc is endless.

Hi Derek,

Thanks for stopping by. Chrome is based on WebKit, the same engine that Safari uses, so if it works in Safari, your site should be the same in Chrome.

Certainly for me, FF is still the best browser out there.

Didnt think much of it, found couple of bugs with css, menu rollovers and the like, cant beat ff for plugins google has a ways to go yet , and of course we all need yet another browser to proof sites lol

I downloaded it earlier today and gave it a shot, within 5 minutes I found 2 sites that just refused to load…

gmail and google reader!

If it wasn’t for the fact that they load fine in IE and FF at the same time I wouldn’t feel so disapointed

Apart from that I loved it, but seein as it’s a google product that won’t load google sites for me I won’t be using it anytime soon.
