I personally don’t like it. It’s too colorful and you can’t really make out the ‘g’

The colors are also very similar to what Microsoft uses. When I have a lot of tabs open, I rely on the favicons to help me quickly get from one to the other, and I tend to have a lot of tabs going, including a few google ones.

I’m a stat junkie, I like checking my adsense reports a couple times throughout the day.

At the level they are at, I wouldn’t expect them to have put something out “broken” in the first place.

From a branding perspective, it’s not a very good idea to be constantly changing your identity. I’m not a fraid of it, but other people would be.

Fearing the frequency of changing something is the most dogmatic and idiotic fear.

If you need to fix something, then just fix it as soon as possible. This is what google has done and I comment them.
