Microsoft’s latest attempt at taking the search world by storm… www.bing.com
The full search service as described in their launch video doesn’t seem to be live yet (certainly not in Ireland) – You can view their demo video by clicking here.
Some features look great, like how you can search for holidays from within the search engine itself, which means you don’t have to visit loads of different websites. The shopping system is very similar to Google’s Froogle, but more integrated.
I’m not sure that we really need another search engine, but this is certainly an improvement on their last attempt at making an improvement. I just fail to see the innovation from Microsoft, but maybe they simply can’t be innovative anymore?

If Microsoft were to offer standard agency discounts of 15%, as do the majority of web publishers (but not Google), they may find a lot of agencys are motivated to educate advertisers on the benefits of advertising on Bing.
The most obvious Bing benefit is probable lower Cost Per Acquisitions than Google. Fewer advertisers equals lower cost per clicks equals lower Cost Per Acquisition.

Bing search engine gives almost the same search results as Google. Looks like Google will now have a tough competition when it comes to search engine technology.

@Acneboy – They’re not even close!! Don’t think Google will have much competition from Bing at all.

BING search engine is just as good as Google. In my own personal experience, Google does give more releveant search result than Bing but the difference is very small. **

That is so not true Carmen.
Talk a look at any of the competitive search terms. Bing is full of spam sites.
