The most frustrating thing about RS232 cables is having to find the drivers to use it!
Everytime I need drivers for my RS232 cable, it takes an absolute age to find them. It’s so hard to find a link to a trustworthy copy of the driver anywhere on the Internet.
So to help you and me save a lot of time next time around, I’ve decided to upload the HL-340 drivers to my blog for save keeping!
It’s probably illegal to do this, but I’ll take my chances!
So here you are, exactly what you’ve been looking for! Click here to download HL-340 drivers (rar file)

Thanks! just for web preservation and search engine helps.. This is the driver for the oh-so-sought-after Dynex USB to Serial adapter. Dynex are a bunch of assholes and haven’t published the driver – or the fact that it uses the HL-340 controller (not the Prolific 2303 one).
